Mimicry is a game me and my entire apartment made together in 3 days for Ludum Dare 35. I think it turned out pretty well, considering it was our first time working together, and our first time working with Unreal.
You are a mimic, a monster that can turn into inanimate objects. You find yourself trapped in an unfamiliar place, surrounded by guards. You must find your way back to the outside world.
The only way to progress is to learn from your surroundings, find more items to transform into, listen to each guard, and present them with that which they desire the most… and then while they’re distracted, eat them.
Use WASD or the arrow keys to move, number keys 1-8 to select the object to transform into, and space to transform. Best played with headphones.
